Mystic Spirits Aromas Handcrafted Smudge Incense Sticks - Palo Santo & Copal

Mystic Spirits Aromas incense is made with a combination of fragrant gums, resins, wood powders, herbs, and spices.

  • Palo Santo belongs to the woody fragrance family, and it's smell is described as a subtle, sweet, and woody scent with hints of mint, citrus. Some say Palo Santo smells slightly like licorice, evoking a deep sense of nostalgia when inhaling its delicate scent.
  • Copal is a sweet citrus fragrance. The crisp, piney, and citrusy scent of Copal is traditionally burned for spiritual cleansing, to clear negative energy, purify and protect. It's used to create sacred spaces, to invite creativity, abundance, and positive loving energy. Copal also helps your connection to the spirit helm.

Do not leave candles, charcoal disks or incense burning unattended. Always keep in a safe place away from flammable objects, children, and pets. Use a fire safe dish or plate to set candles and burners on.

Awesome fragrance and value

I bought this out of curiosity, seeing it was new in the shop. Yes, you only get 8 in the pack but these have palo santo wood chips and powder and copal resin on them, no noticeable filler besides a stick. They're very thick and produce a lot of perfect fragrance but the smoke is not in any way acrid. The palo santo in them smells the same as compressed palo santo wood powder logs I have that sell for $10-$20 for ten four-inch logs, those also produce much more smoke than these sticks. The copal is as fragrant as resin I have, though it's more subtle than some other great copal options available here (from Tribal Soul, Hari Darshan and Yatra Naturals). This is a perfect option if you want real palo santo in a stick, with some added sweetness and lift. Considering other resin sticks sell for more, I think this is an excellent value for a really premium product and I will be trying the other offerings. The only downside is that if you don't like palo santo, you obviously will not like these. Palo santo is sweet and slightly piney and minty. I haven't timed their burn time but it seemed longer than typical masala sticks. You could easily burn half of this and get all the scent you want for a smaller room. I have already purchased this blend for a second time and will probably make it a staple.
